When the Olympics returned in 2004, it was only right that we got an Olympic colorway of an Air Jordan. While the at-the-time current model, the Air Jordan XIX, got the Olympic treatment in it’s “SE” (special edition) form, we also got the return of the original Olympic Air Jordan VII colorway. They retailed for $120 just like the retro Air Jordan VII’s of 2002. The retro card for the Air Jordan VII also got an overhaul for these. The graphic was changed and now depicted a picutre of this sneaker as well as an updated shoe line on the back. These could be seen worn by most of the Team Jordan players on the USA Olympic Basketball Team including Ray Allen, Carmelo Anthony and Jason Kidd to name a few.

These shoes are an icon for the industry. These J’s are a part of USA sports history. The Dream Team was breathtaking to watch. Lets’s hope to see something like this in Beijing.
