SOLE COLLECTOR: Sneakers

As if the Nike Air 1/2 Cent wasn’t enough hybrid for everyone, Nike has done it again. Just in time for the winter season and to end out 2008, Nike will introduce the newest sneaker/boot mashup. This one being the Nike Foamposite boot.

A hybrid of sorts, the Foamposite boot combines two of Nike’s classics. Those being the Nike Air Foamposite One sneaker and the Nike Air Max Goadome boot. With this combo, Nike has created a new look to one of their most popular ACG boots of all time.

The Foamposite is found wrapping around the whole shoe along with a little bit of carbon fiber to boot. Combining the foamposite technology along with max air throughout the midsole, and this should be the boot to end all boots. Truly unstoppable, these should be a must-have right? Well while some of us who get brutalized with snow in the winter say yes, the price is key.

These will retail with a $225 pricetag, pretty steep wouldn’t you say? Well look at it like this, a Foamposite One sneaker retails at $200, so it’s really only a $25 price increase. In my opinion well worth it if you plan on really getting use out of these. Come on foam and max air, what’s better!?

Well wether you’re completely sold or still skeptical you have a few months to think it over. These will debut in December in the following two colorways pictured below. The original “Penny” royal/black colorway and an all black colorway as well. Which will you choose?
