Reebok Drops the Pump Safety Pack…

Words_Jeremy Ripley

From retail giants like Footlocker to aggressive boutiques like Leaders1534, the most voguish commodities perched upon shelves appear to be releases with a “pack” or “collab” label attached to them. Whether it is a casually-directed model such as the adidas ZX 800 or even a hoops model like the Hyperdunk or GilIIZero, the footwear arena appears to enjoy confecting with corporate third parties.

The latest “Bringback Pack” from Reebok features the brand’s omnipresent Omni-Lite, Court Victory, and deftly constructed Pump Fury. Reebok’s unprecedented excursion into the world of the multifaceted pack releases has provided a mixed bag of results, with the contrived “King Of…” release being a new as far as I’m concerned.

However, the “Safety” assortment proves to be a much more endearing lot. With alluring combinations of black/blue/white sported up on the various Pumps, they’ll surely be a seamless one-two with your latest streetwear t-shirt. The shoes will be available at Mita on August 23.
