Randy Moss Debuts Pony Moss Cleat & Moss Trainer

words by Nick DePaula

Pony has recently added legendary Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss to their growing team of athletes, and as Randy comes off of his record-breaking regular season, he’ll be receiving his own line of game cleats as well as training footwear for the upcoming year.

The Moss Cleat will be available in both a Low and Mid through Eastbay and other retailers this fall, and it features a leather upper, full-length TPU shank plate and performance mesh insets for breathability. The Moss collection also consistently uses a black/anthracite/neon green colorway across each shoe as well as his ‘RM’ logo. Along the black based upper, unlike most cleats and footwear today, the medial and lateral sides are uniquely designed, allowing for a more snug fit and closer shape to the contours of your foot.

The Moss Trainer Mid and Low will also be available through Eastbay and FootLocker stores, and the shoe incorporates the Pony Chevron logo as a lateral outrigger. Along the outsole, the Kyle Pulli-designed tooling also features several cutaways for added flexibility and a lighter weight. The upper is made of a soft-to-the-touch nubuck upper and the entire Moss collection will also debut Pony’s new performance mesh lining and multi-density sockliner for added comfort and support.
