With the success of the Zoom Soldier line, Nike has decided to keep going, with a third Soldier releasing next spring. The straps return with the Zoom Soldier III, and cushioning wise the shoe relies on heel and forefoot Zoom Air units atop a soft Cushlon midsole for added comfort. Gone is the Milkcrate Technology that dominated the outsole of the Zoom Soldier II, as the shoe features a herringbone outsole instead.
