SOLE COLLECTOR: Sneakers

For the past four days, when I have left my house, it has been in the Hyperdunks pictured above. I don’t think they have matched one thing I have worn with them, but, to be honest, neither do most other kicks I pull out on a given day, so that’s nothing new. They don’t even have much casual appeal if you go by the current trends, but that hasn’t stopped me in the past either. What can I say? I just really like this shoe. This is the most excited I have been about a new model in a while. What’s even more exciting is that as soon as I put them on, they more than lived up to the hype. When I had the chance to first wear them on our road trip a few weeks back, I jumped on it. I even went as far as playing ball in them - something that until that trip usually only happened about once a year. 

Last night I had to make a late stop at Walmart and someone stopped me as I was walking in the door. The guy said he loved my kicks and asked if I wrestled. “Those are wrestling shoes, right?” he asked. He seemed even more impressed when I told him they were for hoops, and immediately asked where I got them. I have a feeling this will be the first of many pairs of Hyperdunks for me.
