Nike has been paying tribute to Charles Barkley quite often the past few years, with a themed AF1 series last year and the return of his signature CB34 this year. There may never be a force quite like Charles Barkley again in the NBA - able to explode through traffic like a guard, yet dominate the paint like a big man, all the while a few inches shorter than everyone else at his position. Once the Chuckster had intimidated nearly every imaginable opponent he faced, he even went on to greater challenges, like his mythic battles with Godzilla. To help celebrate Barkley’s resounding success during his Round Mound of Rebound days, Nike has put together a new Black/Orange Blaze/Purple colorway of the CB34 that will exclusively release at Harlem’s House Of Hoops location. Dropping on September 20th, and limited to 60 pairs, this colorway goes perfectly with any Phoenix Suns gear, tying back to the city that Charles has called home ever since his retirement.
