words by Steve Jaconetta
The first ever P-Rod high a.k.a. the Bo-Rod saw its release in March 2008. Nike SB’s Sandy Bodecker was responsible for this execution and the shoe was released in very limited quantities. Well now 5 months later, the general public get their chance to own the P-Rod 2 high.
As we are now into August, the P-Rod 2 high will finally be launched to the rest of the world. One thing though, this will be the only general release colorway of this shoe ever. You heard right folks, any other colorways of the P-Rod 2 high released will be very limited in the future. So don’t miss out on these as they too will not last long on the store shelves.
The P-Rod 2 high is in a very nice white/varsity red colorway with a touch of black. As many of you can tell by the look as well as ever popular cement print, this shoe takes inspiration from one of Nike’s basketball classics. Care to guess which one? I’ll leave the speculation up to you.
Matching apparel is offered through a set of high quality zip hooded fleeces all featuring the renowned Nike SB wood grain pattern. The P-Rod 2 high will retail for $110 and should be starting to pop up at you local SB accounts very soon. For tech info on this release click the pics below and checkout our Release Dates.
