Well, after seeing samples of these a few months back we now know the design inspiration behind this upcoming Dunk Low SB. Do you remember what skateboarders used to look like in the early 1990s? Well if you don’t remember, this shoe will sure jog your memory.
The “Goofy Boy” Dunk Low SB as they are rightfully called from the old Big Brother ads. These feature a nice purple and gold upper with the purple denim-like and the gold traditional suede, throw in a black Swoosh and a stuffed tongue and you have another instant classic. Wether you’re going to skate in them or not, this one is sure not to be slept on.
Now for those not familiar with the “Goofy Boy” look, pictured on the insoles is the iconic image of what skaters were rockin’ in the ’90s. Purple jeans cut-off between the ankle and shin in a very capri-style look along with tall tees completed the ‘fit. Isn’t it interesting that each and every style comes back somehow in a whole new way down the road? Amazing.
Anyways, look for the Nike Dunk Low SB “Goofy Boy” to hit your local Nike SB store shelves in 2009. Once an official release date is confirmed you will find it here. Enjoy the pictures below, and if you’d like to discuss these shoes further feel free to do so in our forums.

So in a way it’s a tribute to the old school “cross colors” days, lol.
These are pretty cool.

It’s kinda retarded what they call these SBs and the insoles as well, the colors aren’t too bad but just cause of the name I ain’t gonna get these
