To further commemorate Kobe Bryant’s first ever regular season NBA MVP Award, Nike has created a special version of the Big Nike available only to celebrities, friends and family. We’re thinking Jack is on the list, but you might have to know a few people who know a few people to get your hands on these otherwise.

Made of an incredibly soft and rich premium black leather upper, the Big Nike is set off with ‘MVP’ along the heel in place of the standard ‘NIKE,’ which also includes Kobe’s Sheath logo. The tongue is a perforated purple leather complemented by glittery metallic gold laces and a purple outsole, with a double Swoosh bordered in metallic gold. There’s also a soft leather collar lining, as well as a leather insole that features graphics including a frame-by-frame drive to the basket silhouette of Kobe along with his regular season per game statistics and shooting averages. There’s said to be less than a hundred pairs to be given out, and for now there are no plans to release this special edition version of the Big Nike.
