LeBron James took a break from his basketball-intensive schedule at the Olympic Games in Beijing to help introduce his latest signature shoe, the Nike Zoom LeBron VI, to a large crowd of media members and sneaker enthusiasts. While the Zoom LeBron IV and V both featured forms of ‘posite implemented into the upper, Foamposite on the IV and Phyposite on the V, the newest addition to the line takes on a more simple and basic approach by featuring a synthetic leather upper instead.
Designed by Nike Basketball Design Director Ken Link, the VI features a synthetic leather upper, support overlay that acts as a toe cap and Nike’s responsive full-length Zoom Air, this time around in double-stacked form in the heel. The Zoom LeBron VI hopes to carry on the strong performance attributes that the signature series has become known for over the past five years, and hopefully the usage of leather over Foam will mean a lighter weight. There’s no set retail date just yet, but expect to see the Zoom LeBron VI hitting stores this Holiday just in time for the start of the new hoops season.

These look like Lebron III’s. I though his shoes should be getting more unique rather than going back to styles he’s already made.
