Nike Air Max 1 & Air Max 90 — Safari & Mowabb Inspired

words by Nick DePaula

It goes without saying that Nike is all about inspired-by colorways on their marquee retro silhouettes this year, as we’ve seen the Air Force 1, Court Force and several other shoes take on some of the more iconic colorways from other classic shoes from Nike’s past catalog. This time around the Air Max I and Air Max 90 are the subjects, but the execution doesn’t appear forced or unwarranted. These actually look good. The Air Max I is directly influenced by the Air Safari that also originally released in 1987, and the Air Max 90 is driven by the classic Air Mowabb, full with beige tones and hits of royal blue and orange. Both are scheduled to release on June 27th at quickstrike accounts nationwide and while there’s no confirmed price, we’d have to assume you’re looking at or above the $100 level on both pairs.

Definitly mosdefinitly feeling those airmax 90’s,it’s amazing how fresh those mohabb colors came out on them, the only thing i dnt like about them is the royal blue at the colar and at the lace, other than that i could easily see them in my closet next to a pair of Bo Jacksons,oh for those who dnt know,it’s the airmax sc,
