Jordan Brand and Rockstar Games have teamed up to release a limited edition Jordan Classic 87 to celebrate the release of the upcoming Midnight Club: Los Angeles street racing game. The shoe features a black patent leather upper with red accents, and also includes the official Midnight Club symbol ‘Kanji’ along the tongue in red. When translated, Kanji means ‘Bayshore,’ a touch to the Midnight Club’s original racing spot, the Bayshore Route just off of the Shuto Expressway between Tokyo and Yokohama. The Midnight Club is widely regarded as one of the longest running racing clubs, and obviously, Michael Jordan has become increasingly passionate about the world of motorsports, making for an easy tie-in between the two companies.
The sneakers are part of a limited, integrated pack that is valued at $380 and includes a custom etched acrylic collector’s box as well as a copy of Midnight Club : Los Angeles. Only forty pairs will be made, and you can look to win the package online on the Rockstar Games Social Club website, through a promotion with the Foot Action Star Club, and also through a promotion with DUB.

Best Flight’s ever?
I hate non-retro Jordan shoes, but not bad to put in the collection.
