The wait seems to finally be over. The long debate about what the final production colorways for the most anticipated Jordan Countdown Package of 2008 is confirmed.
Through all the rumors of Space Jams and Taxis to Space Jams with red instead of royal and white/red XII’s to black and red XI’s and black/red/cement XII’s and so on, and so on and so on, we now finally know for sure which colorways we’ll be seeing. After confirmed word to unconfirmed word to typographical errors, there is now light at the end of the tunnel. Pictures have finally surfaced overseas of what looks to be the legit final production colorways for the Jordan 11/12 Collezione package.
Two OG colorways will be released after all, and unlike the 19/4 pack which featured two black-based colorways, these are back to the original concept of things: One black-based model and one white-based model. The XI’s are indeed the black and red original colorway which was pretty much the only thing really confirmed since Nike.com released the colorway description. But the XII’s on the other hand seem to be an enigma all of their own.
Well since I gave you a hint above that one will be white-based and one will be black-based and the XI’s are black and red, you all now know that the XII’s have to be white-based. But what could they be? Are they an original colorway like the Taxis or the white/red’s? Or are they an original colorway with a twist, or something new altogether? You question is answered in the pictures below, the colorway of the Air Jordan 12 Retro in the 11/12 Countdown Package is….the Taxis.
So, all you impatient people out there can stop losing sleep over contemplating exactly what colorways will be in the final package for 2008. All you really have to do is start saving your pennies which i’m sure most of you have been for quite some time no regardless of which colors the shoes are. Well you have just about five weeks to go until you have your chance to get them.
The final Air Jordan Countdown Package the 11/12 Collezione will be releasing worldwide on Friday December 26th and will retail for the usual $310 for men’s sizes and $200 for gradeschool kid’s sizes. If your a TRUE collector you should already have these deadstock NOR should you be impressed with this pack. This is a good starter pack for most but not me. -5 stars

Rayo, what exactly is a TRUE collector? Someone who only buys 11 year old shoes just to stare at them. I have the ‘01 bred 11’s but I dont have the OG Taxis so I’m happy about this pack. And I can assure you that I am not any less of a collector just because I am willing to a buy retro that was (GASP) made after 2001.

Hey Shaun, they come out on Friday because all of the most limited Jordans do. Just like the Doernbecher I’s that came out last friday with only 1000 pairs made. I’m glad I got mine! As for those who say the X/XIII package was the best, I disagree. The best package to me was the IX/XIV, the IX’s are dope n the redesign of the XIV is even better. I’m still pissed about no space jams and white/red XII’s!

THIS IS A GREAT PACK, THE COLORWAYS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER THOUGH. LET’S SEE: THE RETRO BRED 11′S GO FOR LIKE $600, RIGHT? AND THE TAXIS 12′S WERE NEVER RETROED, AND THEY GO FOR LIKE WHAT, $200-$300. GEEZ, THAT’S ABOUT A $1000.00 VALUE. OH MAN, IS THAT EVEN ACCURATE???

The Point is yeah there great! But there typical. Niggas is lookin for WoW! The XI’s have been retro’d for the third time–the value of em’ has plummeted! Not to mention the fake ones I see EVERYDAY of this colorway. Their not exclusive, theres no special medallions to signify them (like the DMP’S) and thats why you’ll see all the lames, bustas and new heads wit em on. Original but SIMPLE–Jordan is GREATNESS! these are great. Jus Recycled like a Trick on the Track!

im liking this pack but id rather have the space jams and white reds.to those who r wondering if the space jams might rerelease,i dont think they will cuz they r a retro+ and so far,no retro pluses have been reretroed.

Anybody that’s a DIE HARD collector will cop… I have all of the packs and no I was not happybwith every color but you can’t call yourself a DIE HARD fan unless you have them all… I have to admit though, Jordan really disappointed me with the colorway of this pack but the taxi’s are still a crazy color… I still where a kids size so getting the XI’s high top is good enough for me… When you wear grade school sizes, it’s hard to find certain Jordans in your size… So stop complaint and go cop because in the long run, the taxi’s are a classic… They were NEVER retroed except in low top… But of course that doesn’t count… So go cop up because I AM…!!!

Why do people keep saying that they should have kept the first colorways or what not, those were all RUMORS, those were colorways we hoped for we never had any legitimate visual proof as to what the color ways would be until a few days ago so no one should be getting angry because they didn’t come out with the colors they wanted. Personally I would have preferred White/Red XII’s but I’m still copping, best release of all CDP.
