words by Steve Jaconetta
We all remember the debut release of the Air Jordan XX3 Premier in January don’t we? I for one know I will never forget it. Only available in the Top 23 Jordan stores in the U.S. with each store only receiving 23 pairs to sell at a retail price of $230. Well, the Premier line has since continued and another numbered Air Jordan model will again bare the infamous name in 2008.
After a few Fusions have been and will be released under the Premier name, this holiday season an Air Jordan 1 will be added to the list. This Air Jordan 1 will be a high top as well, something JB is re-introducing to the public for the first time since ‘01. This one will be indeed limited but lucky for us not as limited as the XX3 Premier.
These will be released at the Top 325 Jordan stores in the U.S. this time around making it a lot easier to try and obtain. They feature an all red premium smooth leather upper with army colored laces and Swoosh. The Swoosh also velvet, real nice. The sockliner also has a camouflage print vibe to it but might change a bit on the released model, and the infamous Jumpman logo is indeed found on the back of the shoe. These are set to be released sometime this holiday season with a tentative pricetag of $125.
As soon as a set release date is confirmed, it will be posted here in our Release Dates section as well as in our forums (you can checkout the official Jordan Launch Dates thread here).
