Here we see the debut of the new box specifically made for the Air Jordan XVII issued in 2002. It is a plain tan box that folds open revealing a unique briefcase. This briefcase is all silver, similar to the one of the Japan exclusive Air Jordan 1 Retro+ Neutral Grey/Metallic Silver in 2001. Included in the briefcase was also a DVD with some background information about the shoe as well as an interview with Jordan-sponsored musician Mike Phillips.
