Surf-‘n-skate troupe Gravis has received wide acclaim from extreme enthusiasts over the earlier part of the millennium for offering impeccably crafted footwear in a market often littered with shoddy componentry and age-old design. The brand is back in ’08 with their recently released DLX Lowdown, a vulcanized high-top perfect for casual excursions. Offered in a “burnt-brown” colorway, the model is unquestionably inspired by the Native American moccasin (as seen in the shoe’s medially placed zipper strap and forefoot stitching). The DLX is currently available at Flauge.
