etnies Plus meets Oi Polloi

Etnies Plus has been quietly cranking out some of the most interesting and elegant casual silhouettes in recent memory, and their new collaboration with Manchester’s Oi Polloi is an exemplary sampling of their work. Consisting of four different models - the Bossa, Junior, Pablo and Rodigan - each shoe in the collection features Oi Polloi’s signature magpie(a bird in the crow family) logo. As always with the etnies Plus line, the materials and construction are top notch.

According to Steve Sanderson, Co-founder of Oi Polloi, “The shoes maketh the man is what we were told when we were growing up, which must have had some kind of impact, as we’ve been left mentally scarred with what can only be described as a slightly fanatical obsession with shoes.” He says that the project came about when they were “talking to the nice chaps at etnies about the merits of geography teacher shoes, and how we were keen to make some shoes of our own. Not long after, the wheels were in motion, and as if by magic, the etnies Plus Oi Polloi Collaboration was created!” The result of this collaboration can be seen below.
