Some of you may be wondering how and why is this considered a “Jordan” sample. Well I will tell you, these are one of three colorways produced originally as the third shoe rumored to be in the original Air Jordan Defining Moments Package. The “DMP” was originally tagged at retailing for $500 with this Converse Pro Leather, the Air Jordan VI and the Air Jordan XI representing the three shoes in this pack. But the Converse side of things was later cut out and the DMP we all know with just the Air Jordan VI & XI is what we all got. These Converse’s were made to represent MJ as he wore these during his NCAA days playing for UNC. The defining moment was when he hit the game-winning shot in the final seconds to win his first championship, the NCAA championship. As these are samples, they were never produced and therefore very rare and never available to the public.
