As Nick outlined a couple of weeks back, Nigo and his Bape initiative have seemingly more mature, understated approach to their latest stable of releases.  Good news for anyone who was weary with the ‘Sta/TrackSta hypetrain that was further capitalized on by the always effervescent Souljah Boy who “Supermanned hoes” on his way to the top spot on Billboard’s hit chart. The latest packaged drop from the brand is the Track 88 Collection, which predictably includes the 88 Low and 88 Hi.  The shoes are distinguished by a ribbed midpanel and toexbox, Timberland patterned laces (Hey, you have to gather inspiration from somewhere, right?) and a singular stitch line that melds the shoe’s upper and midsole. There’s no word on a release date for the 88 pack now, but when we get word we’ll update here!
