Now we’ve all seen the numerous player exclusive cleat colorways for the retro Air jordan XIV, but not too many ones like this. This turf version of the Air Jordan XIV was a PE made for Andruw Jones. He wore these mostly during practice as well as during select games throughout the 2006 MLB season while playing on turf fields while a member of the Atlanta Braves. The all black upper with red accents very reminiscent of the Last Shots is made up of a combination of leather as well as patent leather which is prominently featured on the toebox as well as on the side. They also contain a white midsole which also includes the shark teeth and a nice clear rubber turf sole. With these special Air Jordan XIV’s being PE’s, they were made only for Andruw Jones and were never available to the public.
