In 2000, we got the return of the Air Jordan VI. Funny thing about these is that all colorways of the Air Jordan 6 Retro released in 2000 are labeled as a “Retro+.” But this specific colorway is actually an original one. They even still bare the original Nike Air on the back. The reason these were labeled as a “Retro+” is because the samples that were made for these were slightly different, which would’ve made then a “Retro+” at the time. The original colorway got the nod instead, but the boxtag still read “Retro+.” No biggie as people didn’t really care that much about that detail, they were just happy the Black and Infared Air Jordan VI was retroed. These also retailed for $120 which was $5 cheaper than when the original was released.
