In 2006 Nike unveiled the Untold Truth Series. This series was inspired by baseball’s Negro Leagues. This specific shoe was designed in honor of the New York Cuban’s team. It features a unique stitching around the shoe similar to that of a baseball or even of baseball glove. It also features the New York Cubans logo on the heel tab. This premium release was only available at urban accounts and matching apparel was made and released to matchup with the shoes.
