SOLE COLLECTOR: Sneakers

It’s been quite a journey for New York-based ALIFE, the exclusive sneaker boutique that launched in 1999 and has since taken off to now include footwear offerings of their own, and of late, large scale musical campaigns with such high profile recording artists as Nas. Their next collection of footwear for this upcoming Fall/Winter season features the brand’s casual staple, the Everybody, in a high cut, as well as the awesomely low-key Chuck Blue and the Court Cup B&W. Put me down for a 13 in those black/blue Chuck Blues, as I’m a big fan of how ALIFE is re-interpreting past casual classics on the surface with comfort and thoughtful linings under the hood. Notice the partial length inner fit sleeve on the Chuck Blue — a sharp detail. However — they might want to watch it on the Court Cup B&W and hope K-SWiss or adidas doesn’t take notice.
