Now what you have here is something made in "dreams." These were released in 1992 as Michael Jordan joined the USA Olympic basketball team. They were the greatest team ever to be assembled and were dubbed the "Dream Team."

Last but certainly not least we have the "Cardinal's." This colorway resembles more of the Chicago Bulls uniform than the "Hares." The Air Jordan VII was inspired by an African art festival poster that designer Tinker Hatfield saw while stopping in Portland.

This is the initial colorway released for the original Air Jordan VII. These are dubbed the "Hares" as cartoon character Bugs Bunny was seen wearing these in some of the campaign ads for the Air Jordan VII. This is also the colorway worn at home by MJ.

In true Air Jordan fashion with the new model releasing annually this is the away edition of the original Air Jordan VII. These were nicknamed the "raptors" once the retro of this colorway was released in 2002. This colorway was worn by Jordan while he was playing away in the 1992 season.

This colorway of the original Air Jordan VII debuted in the 1992 NBA Playoffs. These were also seen in Michael Jackson's music video for his song "Jam" in which Michael Jordan wore them during a game of one-on-one with Jacko. En route to his second consecutive NBA championship, this shoes legacy would rise as it has become one of the most popular Air Jordan's of all time.

As the Air Jordan VII Retro Olympic's are released in 2004, we also get a player exclusive. This is the version that was worn specifically by Carmelo Anthony while representing the USA during the Olympics on the Team USA basketball team.

Now this is a special treat. This is a player exclusive for Ray Allen. This was made exclusive for him and was worn by him while he was still a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. These were worn mostly while he was on the road in 2002.

Just one week before the Air Jordan VII Retro hits stores everywhere, we get another limited lifestyle colorway first. These retail for $135 as do all the Air Jordan VII Retro's in 2006. The odd thing about this is that they are an LS release and usually LS releases are $10 more than the regular general release colorways.

With the Olympics returning in 2004 it's only right that we get an Olympic colorway of an Air Jordan. While the recent model the Air Jordan XIX got the Olympic treatment in it's "SE" (special edition) form we also get the return of the original Olympic Air Jordan VII colorway. They retailed for $120 just like the retro Air Jordan VII's of 2002. The retro card for the Air Jordan VII also got an overhaul for these.
