Pros: Generally comfortable; good court feel thanks to its thin midsole; traction, though quite poor when I first reviewed this Retro + release back in 2000, is now excellent (see my note about this in the review); still an absolutely bad ass design

Here is the home colorway of the original Air Jordan VI. This was worn mainly while MJ was at home with the Chicago Bulls. Much like the Air Jordan V, the Air Jordan VI also contains clear rubber soles as well as a lace lock. But to be different this lace lock does not come with the plastic piece that it was encased in with the Air Jordan V.

This shoe is definetly a part of history. The original Air Jordan VI is the model that Michael Jordan wore when he won his first NBA Championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1991. This is the road colorway of the original Air Jordan VI. One unique feature on these is the rubber tongue.

Now wether you call these the "September Blue" or the "Sport Blue's" they are still one of the rarest original Air Jordan VI's to come across. The confusion of the nickname came from the box tag abbreviation of the colorway. It simply read "White/Sptblu-Black." So since "spt" could be the abbreviation for sport or September different people go by the two different words.

Exploring new colorways we get a maroon Air Jordan. This original Air Jordan VI was the first to bring back the off-white look that was also used on the infamous "military blue" Air Jordan IV's. This is also the first Air Jordan to have a maroon colorway. Not many of these are seen floating around as these have definetly become a rarity.

This was the final colorway originally released for the Air Jordan VI. Nicknamed "carmine" due to the colorway description these have become one of the greatest pairs of Air Jordan's of all time. For many years people begged and pleaded for Jordan Brand to retro these, there was even a petition made by a avid sneaker head to try to help pursuade them to be released.

Continuing on down the line, in 2000 we get the return of the Air Jordan VI. Funny thing about these is that all colorways of the Air Jordan Retro VI released in 2000 are labeled as a retro+. But this specific colorway is actually an original one. They even still bare the original Nike Air on the back and such. The reason these were labeled as a retro+ is because the samples that were made for these were slightly different which would've made then a retro+ at the time.

In 2006 we get our first taste of an Air Jordan Package. This one called the "Defining Moments Package" featured the Air Jordan VI Retro and the Air Jordna XI Retro. Inspired by the two Air Jordan models worn by MJ during his first championship won for each of the two three-peats.

This was the third and final colorway of the Air Jordan Retro VI to be released in 2000. This was also the last Air Jordan Retro VI to be labeled a retro+. This unique colorway was made for those who didn't know or couldn't get their hands on the "Olympic" retro just one month prior.

With the 2000 Olympics underway, it's only right that we get a new Olympic Air Jordan. This is the first Olympic inspired Air Jordan to release since 1992 with the Dream Team and the Air Jordan VII. These were worn by Ray Allen as he represented his country, and that's also how they got the nickname of "Ray Allen's" along with the "olympic's."

Here is the other men's colorway of the Air Jordan VI Retro Low that was released in 2002. These like the other also started at a size 6.5 as that was still considered a men's size. They come with the signature lace locks as well as the Air Jordan VI retro card which is slightly different from the one that came with the Air Jordan VI retro's of 2000.

This is one of the two men's colorways of the Air Jordan Retro VI Low released in 2002. These were only made in men's sizes due to being a limited release and they actually started at a size 6.5. Reason for that is because this was before men's sizes officially changed to start at size 7.5. They retailed for $105 and came with the signature lacelocks that are common with the Air Jordan VI.
