These were produced in 2001 back when PE's were few and far between. This OG player exclusive Air Jordan XVI belonged to Mike Bibby.

Here we have an original Air Jordan XVI sample. This can be labeled a prototype as this sample was made to show the Air Jordan XVI as it was being designed and finished. You can see how some of the colors on this shoe are not defined and just pretty much slapped on there to showcase different parts on the shoe.

As the Air Jordan XVI's are finishing up their releases we get one more colorway. As two low top colorways we get a new high top one and it's a "+" to boot. The "ginger's" as nicknamed by their colorway description also feature the removable gaiters that are can also be reversed to show a different color.

Now here's a new feature, the "+." Now this plus is different from when they did the retro+. The Air Jordan+ eventually became the .5's and PE's of later Air Jordan models. What it stood for was to take the regular edition Air Jordan model and tweak it a bit.

This shoe marks the final release of the original Air Jordan XVI. This is also the second low top colorway released. Like the white and red low top these also feature the magnetic buttons on the upper sides of the sneaker giving you the option to put it up and convert it from a low to a mid or keep it down and stay as a low. These also retailed for $135 like the previous low top colorway did.

Here is the second colorway of the original Air Jordan XVI. These retailed for $160 and took a $10 price jump from the past few Air Jordan releases which have been retailing for $150. The gaiters on these added something different that wasn't on the first colorway.
