The Bullet Pass Mid is the latest performance take from Le Habra, California brand AND1. Known more for its Streetball tour, the company has gone to great lengths to release shoes that are rooted within the game of basketball. Tossing caution to the wind, the ensemble has constructed a glut of extreme lookin’ shoes over the past few seasons, particularly the Vapor Mid, Franchise Mid, and feathery Edge (the lightest hoops shoe to date—that’s right Nike pundits). Down below, the Bullet Pass features AND1’s exceedingly comfortable Low2Ground cushioning system. I’ll bypass PSI deflation rates, stability pins, and elastometer gel for now, and say that once broken in, L2G offers a ride underfoot similar to the Swoosh’s vaunted Zoom Air.

The B.P features a rounded heel for added stability on unanticipated changes in direction. The prominent midfoot support strap should also contribute to the model’s steadiness overall, while the multilayered micro-mesh inner lining dissipates heat nicely.

The Bullet Pass Mid is available at both Zappos (www.zappos.com) and AND1’s official site, www.and1.com for $90. For now, white/red, white/royal blue, and black/silver color schemes are available. When I find out what stores will be carrying these (if any) I’ll update here.
