With June right around the corner, lets take a look at what’s in store from Nike Skateboarding for the upcoming month. Everyone’s favorites are back again with some possibly coming to an end?
The featured shoe for the month is the white/black Paul Rodriguez 2 Premium SB. With the next model in the series, the P-Rod 3 debuting in August, Nike SB had to make the P-Rod 2 go out with a bang. This final colorway is inspired by one of the most iconic Dunk Low’s that has ever came out as an SB, the Supreme. We all know it well, and most of you out there would kill to have a pair of them. While that isn’t very easy to come by nor cheap, this P-Rod 2 is a perfect option instead to fill the void. Also, it’s a nice way to get the blood flowing for all you Jordan heads out there waiting for a certain Jordan III to be re-retroed the end of August in a similiar color scheme. Retail for the final P-Rod 2 colorway is $100.
Next up we have two new Dunks, one a low and one a mid. The lowtop features an all white upper with perforations on the toe and side panels along with a combination of light grey nubuck. A few hits of dark blue on the heel tab and tongue tag and a gum sole, and you have one great looking sneaker perfect for the summer time. A little darker, the mid features a full suede upper with a leather toebox. A few hits of gold and an all white midsole/sole, and it’s complete. Retail for the low will be $92 as it’s a Premium while the mid will retail for $10 less at $82.
Finishing out the month we have a new Blazer, Zoom Tre A.D and a Zoom Classic SB. The Blazer is a nice premium colorway alot of people have been waiting for. It features a nice all red suede upper with a black Swoosh and the traditional all white sole. Retail on these is $80. The Tre A.D. is perfect for all occasions with it’s all black upper and a few hits of metallic gold for that little pop. Meanwhile, the Classic takes on a different approach from all other releases this month as it features an all white upper complete with a black suede Swoosh along with a light blue sockliner and midsole and a pink sole to finish it off. The Zoom Tre A.D. will come in at the usual $95 and the Classic will be it’s usual price of $65.
There you have it, that’s what’s in store from Nike SB for June 2009. Don’t forget there will be the usual quickstrikes this month as well. I LOVE DUNKS, BLAZERS, AND SBs!!! Big fan of them all. Loved air force ones for years…I am a dunk man for the last five years, mos def. The blazers gotta be high for me. SBs are like art, i dont want to own them just wanna hang them on my wall. All of these are fire, even if i wouldnt rock a couple.

They aren’t cements: it’s called ELEPHANT print. See the REAL cement print on the classic Jordan IV O.G. model.
