Mark your calendars, March 2009 is the so-called end of the gold box that has featured many of our new favorite SB’s from the past few years. Now we are in April and the blue box we saw for the Made For Skate Blazers  in 2008 has returned (this is not an April Fools joke either).

Kicking things off in the footwear department we have the next releases in the Nike SB Custom Series Vol. 3. Part 2 includes a Dunk Mid Premium SB and an Elite Blazer SB. The Dunk was designed by Justin Brock and features soft black suede over a khaki canvas upper. Along with the red woven “Workwear” logo on the tongue, this shoe represents Justin’s style and skating to the fullest. The Blazer designed by Grant Taylor features a slightly padded tongue along with a smooth dark army colored leather upper with a suede tip. The “Rasta Ants” embroidery on the tongue ties in with a matching shirt. Well everyone, that completes Vol. 3 of Nike SB Custom Series for 2009.

Next up we have new colors of the Zoom Tre A.D., Zoom Classic SB, Dunk High Pro SB and Blazer Low Premium SB. The Zoom Tre A.D. is in a nice anthracite/comet red and features white laces and a white midsole. The Classic features an array of colors on an all suede upper, colors include dark teal, white, zest, comet red and pine green. Even though Independence Day is three months away, this Blazer is perfect for all you Americana-types out there. It features a nice all white leather upper with hits of obsidian and sport red. Finishing off the general release footwear for the month is the “UnHeaven’s Gate” Dunk High. This shoe features a mixture of obsidian, purple and white throughout the upper with a nice mixture of suede and leather. A metallic platinum Swoosh with a white tongue and toebox finishes the shoe off.

You can’t have footwear without matching apparel right!? Well, Nike SB seems to think so. With that being said we have three new styles of tee shirts including the SB Rastant tee, the SB Monkey Fight tee and two new colors of the SB Icon Woody tee. We also have two colors of the Yarn Dye Full Zip Fleece hoody, the Sneakers Only 2 Jacket in two colors and two SB Dot Stripe 5 Panel hats. Accessories for the month include a new set of socks for the “Oompa Loompa” Dunk lows and three SB Croc Wallets.

There you have it! Everything releasing in April 2009 from Nike SB. Keep a lookout for a few quickstrike footwear releases this month as well which include a Blazer and possibly two Dunks, the “Nitrate” mid and a black/white low.
