In 2008 we saw our fair share of quite a few original colorways via the much hyped Jordan Countdown Packs. [As well as some perhaps forced colorways we'd rather forget.] Namely, the much anticipated ‘Carmine’ VI finally released, and everyone was able to get their fix with the Black/Cement Grey III’s and IV’s. There’s still quite a few original Jordan colorways that we haven’t yet seen get the Retro treatment though, so to kick off the year, lets take a dip into the Sole Collector Archive to check out colorways of the first XV Jordans yet to be retroed, and let us know which colorways YOU want to see brought back out!
I’m absolutely dying for a pair of the Black/White/Indiglo XIV, and I really hope the Regional X’s will see a return soon, though I can wait for 2010 and their 15th Anniversary.

Hands down, the Air Jordan that has never been retroed is the XII’s white and true red…. These by far are the toughest jordans ever… Mike if you read these, PLEASE retro them XII’s… Those sneakes came out when I was in 3rd grade… So you know I don’t have them anymore… I got all the packs and just need that one sneaker to die a happy man…

Air Jordan XIII in BOTH colours you put up, ESPECIALLY the black/white/true red joints. Holy sweetness. I so love that shoe, i’ve had 5 colourways over the years, denimblue/white, white/flint grey, white/black/red OG’s from back in the day, and both colours you posted. Favorite Jordan (to ball in) ever. Another one: Air Jordan XI in the spacejam colourway (light blue jumpman stitching), i’d do a lot to get those. Still have the OG XI’s in black/red in great shape.

what a coincedence, i never found an air jordan shoe very cool after the XIII’s, first one i’ve not snorted at since then are the XXIII’s, but only in specific colours (the darkgrey/carolina blue/white wet dream!). I ADORED the jumpman Pro J’s then switched totally to Nike Shox’s and no turning back (for now, Hyperdunk’s just arrived, feel goood) since then.

those are the only jordan X’s that a lot of people like-the ones with the white base and hits of color but they never retro them.
they have retroed black cement 3′s three times already. white cement 3′s, bred 4′s, fire red v’s and bred 11′s two times.
i know retros might be stupid to some of collectors but i think in the end of the day, the og’s can never be replaced. those are the ones you keep in your collection and retros can be a pair you dont have to care about as much and can actually use them.

Definetly all the regional X’s. The Seattle supersonics are the best X’s. They will be even more coveted now, since the supersonics are no longer around. And If they do retro them I would not mind paying extra, because they are definetly worth it.

I am feeling ANY of those VI’s, especially white infrared,
But, if they are OG colorways, WITH THE “NIKE AIR” on the back (it’ll never happen…sigh…lol)
OR
The IX’s – again, should true to original (no “23″ on Powder blues)
Again, very unlikely to happen.
Either way, need to use similar materials
I felt like my OG’s I had as a kid held up much much longer AND I was 1000% rougher with them in the schoolyard!

Sole Collector to answer your question on which original VI colourway should be retroed it has to definetly be the White/Infrared/Black as these look so amazing in terms of design, durability, quality and how they actually look!
Absolutely amazing job by Tinker Hatfield on designing the VI’s. As a fan of Air Jordans since 1999 I was only 3 years old when the VI’s were first released so I could never have got them when they first came out.
But now im 20 years old in 2009 and as a big fan of MJ and Jordans, I really hope and pray Brand Jordan release this original colourway as a retro in 2009 as the VI in this colourway is my personal favourite Jordan shoe of all time.
