Unique and eye-catching shoes are nothing new to PUMA. With their new Usan though, it’s what you may not be able to see that is its most unique feature.
New for Spring and Summer of ’08, the Usan showcases the sportlifestyle philosophy that PUMA has made its trademark. Inspired by a 100M-sprint spike (sans spikes), the Usan can be worn as a casual shoe, in dressier settings or even for light training.
The real highlight of the Usan though is its construction. To create the Usan, PUMA has used their UNI technology. By stitching the upper directly to the outsole, PUMA can cut down on unnecessary extras such as excess padding, materials and glue. The result is an extremely lightweight, flexible and durable shoe that is not only high-tech, but also environmentally friendly. Its removable insole also makes it ideal for travel.
The Usan is available now in a variety of colorways and materials at selected retailers and through puma.com. Also be on the lookout for more models using UNI technology in PUMA’s soccer, motorsport and lifestyle lines.
