PUMA may be best known for their fashion-forward and boundary pushing kicks, but that’s just the beginning. With their Urban Mobility collection, PUMA has created a unique line of products for those living in the city, and the cornerstone of that collection is its newest bike – and this time it glows!

This latest edition of the PUMA Bike features a perfect-for-the-city single gear, and comes standard with head and backlights. Its bold tires, twin-disc breaks and folding design make it not only safe, but convenient. Its best feature though may be its integrated locking system. The downtube doubles as a wire lock. It provides the necessary tension to ride when connected, and a secure way to lock it up once disengaged. And if the wire is cut, it renders the bike virtually useless, as it will self-destruct if anyone tries to ride it away.

As for the glowing, that comes courtesy of steel frame’s special night glow paint. After a day of collecting sun, the bike gives off a vibrant glow at night that lasts for several hours. Aside from being possibly the coolest looking bike ever, the glow has the added benefit of providing increased visibility as you traverse the urban landscape.

The PUMA Glow Rider was once again manufactured by Biomega, and is now available at select PUMA retail stores and puma.com. It is available in two colors: buttermilk, which glows in green, and the color featured here, orange, which glows in orange. Also included are a matching courier bag, jacket and tee.
