Strangely absent from the #SoleWatch Power Rankings this season, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine is making a strong case to appear in the next feature.
Earlier tonight, LaVine hit the Madison Square Garden hardwood in the "College Blue" Air Jordan 17. The 2002 release was famously basketball's first $200 sneaker and came packaged in a metal briefcase. It's being rumored that the Jordan 17 will be retroed for just the second time next year.
LaVine scored 19 points in his 13-year old sneakers, but the Wolves fell to the Knicks 107-102.
