Remember how busy the adidas Stan Smith was last year with its collabs and premium takes?
Expect the same this year for the adidas Superstar, a model that adidas has plenty in the works for in terms of team ups and bring backs. Landing early as one of the most unorthodox is this Yohji Yamamoto pair. Yamamoto, a longtime partner of adidas through his Y-3 label, almost renders the silhouette unrecognizable by replacing the standard stripes on the side with zippers of varying length–the model is even renamed the "Zipper Star" on the heel. There is no U.S. release information yet for the Yohji Yamamoto adidas Superstar/Zipperstar.
