After 5 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Hall of Famer joined the arch rival Washington Redskins for the 2000 season. With a re-tooled roster featuring several newly signed high-priced free agents, Washington got off to a hot start with 5 wins in their first 8 games, but ultimately slowed down and finished 8-8. Deion, who intercepted 4 passes and made 38 tackles on the season, would go on to retire from the league before returning with the Baltimore Ravens in 2004.

Though not an official member of Team Jordan, Deion was a friend of the brand and spent his lone season with the Skins in a Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan XI. Matching the team's famous scheme, the white-based cleats featured a burgundy patent leather rand, a yellow-lined interior and his "Prime Time" nickname across the tongue. There was also a nubbed variation that he wore on turf.

Throughout the years, the Deion XIs (including his black Cincinnati Reds colorway) have become some of the most sought after pairs by PE collectors.

As part of the Jordan Brand's XX8 Days of Flight, a look back at Deion's "Redskins" XI cleats.
