Once a highly touted prospect at the high school and college level, Xavier Henry's pro career hasn't panned out quite as we expected. However, a recent resurgence in Los Angeles has him back on the NBA radar and showing flashes of young star that made a name for himself at Oklahoma's Putnam City High.

Last night, Henry had arguably the signature moment of his young career. Up big against the New Orleans Pelicans in the third quarter, he received a pass from Shawn Williams at the top of the key, lost two defenders with a pump fake, slashed down the middle and threw down a vicious dunk over former Kansas teammate Jeff Withey. It's early, but we have a frontrunner for Dunk of the Year.

For the game, Henry laced up the 'Purple Gradient' Nike Kobe 8, which he's been wearing most of the season thus far.

Check out the clip above and let us know what you think about Henry's posterization of Withey.
