The Chicago 1s aren't the only thing to keep an eye on this weekend.

While most of the sneaker world is focused on Saturday's release of the "Chicago" Air Jordan 1, there's another, much more exclusive version of the model that could be yours this weekend. A "wood art" Air Jordan 1 has been spotted on eBay, with a starting bid of a mere $10,000.

The carving, which somewhat approximates the look of MJ's first signature shoe, measures 12 inches long, by 7.5 inches tall, by 4 inches wide, and was "hand crafted from butternut wood." The auction includes a detailed backstory on the inspiration behind this sclupture, but there is no mention of the actual artist.

Assuming this auction doesn't jump higher than its starting bid, what would be a better use of $10,000 this weekend? This wood art, or 62.5 pairs of Chicagos priced at $160 each?
