Would the What the Kobe 9s have been better received as a Low?
That's the question posed by Dank Customs on this new pair, which he calls a "conversion" rather than a full on custom. Of course it makes less sense as a Low given that the pairs picked for this mash up design were all from the higher Nike Kobe 9 Elite (then again, the retail version of the What the Kobe 9 Elite isn't that close to any of its inspirations thanks to the multicolored Flyknit). Also, the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low has less colorways overall to pick and choose from, so such a "What The" sneaker might not have been as busy as previous designs. This isn't the first time that Dank Customs has taken to converting Kobe 9 Elites into Lows.
