What a Handmade Sneaker Looks Like

Another set of made in France sneakers is releasing, this time from Le Coq Sportif.

The quick sellout of the recent adidas Originals Superstar 80s "Made in France" proved that consumers are willing to pay more for retros that place a real emphasis on quality of production.

Testing that water again is this new duo of made in France sneakers from Le Coq Sportif, an imprint that calls that country home. The shoe is the Le Coq Sportif Arthur Ashe, which is presented in an original white/gum look as well as a busy white/blue from colette that should further satisfy Francophiles. Both pairs are extremely limited–the white/gum comes in a run of 136 pairs and the colette comes in a run of just 55. Both pairs of the Le Coq Sportif Arthur Ahse shown here will release on Jan. 12, 2015 in a deluxe wooden box that comes packaged with shoe trees and maintenance cream.
