With Kobe Bryant and Nick Young out with injuries, the responsibility of debuting the Nike Kobe 10 on-court was left in the hands of swingman Wesley Johnson.
In today's matinée game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Johnson played in the purple-based 'Lakers' colorway. The shoe is flanked by metallic silver Swoosh branding and sits atop a Zoom loaded purple translucent sole.
Johnson had 11 points and 5 rebounds in the Lakers' 92-80 loss to the Knicks.
The Kobe 10 will launch in the blue '5AM Flight' colorway next Saturday, Feb. 11. No word yet on a release date for this pair.
