While certainly not everyone will understand them, longtime fans of Japanese sneakers will surely rejoice at the news that UNION L.A. recently received a new shipment from visvim, including the classic FBT model in one of the higher quality offerings of the sneaker to date.
The moccasin-inspired FBT features a hand-crafted, rich suede upper. A pigment-free cowhide liner, TPU heel stabilizer and Vibram outsole work together to provide both comfort and technical performance. In addition, this slightly reworked version of the FBT reportedly fits more "true to size" than past offerings.
This FBT does not come without a hefty price tag, as UNION currently lists the shoe at $876. Sticker shock aside, the FBT doesn't appear in America often, so those interested (and able to afford them) should contact UNION L.A. as soon as possible (323-549-6950).
