In the early 1990's the cross-training market was booming, and we saw the glory days of the Nike Training department with more than a few classic models.  From Bo Jackson's Trainer SC line to the rise of turf trainers like the Zoom Turf '96, the Nike Training back catalog is stocked with goodies.  Today's Vintage Ad feature takes it back to 1993 for a look at the Air Trainer Accel Mid.

The Air Trainer Accel utilized the Huarache technology with the signature bootie and visible heel Air unit for a snug and comfortable fit.  1993 brought us two other celebrated Nike Training classics with the Air Carnivore and Deion Sanders' first Diamond Turf, but the Air Trainer Accel has somehow been forgotten.  Seen here in its White/Black/Clear Jade colorway, the Accel is an iconic early 90's cross trainer.
