Today it's a double feature with two ads of the classic Nike Air Mowabb from 1991.

It's overlooked by the casual sneakerhead, but the Air Mowabb from Nike's ACG line is an all-time classic from not only the ACG department, but from all of Nike's entire catalog.  Designed by - who else? - Tinker Hatfield, the Air Mowabb released in 1991 and was intended as a trail running / cross training / hiking boot hybrid.  With perfect utilization of the Huarache technology and iconic colorways (it's the first Nike shoe to have the speckled midsole), it's easy to see why this is one of the favorites of the entire ACG line.  When you look at all of the other shoes released in 1991, the Mowabb definitely sticks out thanks to both its innovations and unique futuristic look.

In both of these ads, Nike ACG is basically telling you to "Get up and get outdooors!" Just like all of the "boxes" the first ad is referring to, we wouldn't have this amazing shoe if Tinker and Nike ACG weren't thinking outside of the box way back then.  So what are you waiting for?  Get off of your box A.K.A. computer and go hike a mountain!  (After you finish this article, of course.)
