We've finally witnessed.

With an historic triple double performance to close out the 2012 NBA Finals in just five games, LeBron James has earned his very first NBA Championship.

Ever prepared for the moment, Nike Basketball celebrates LeBron James' title with this video, chronicling his journey from Akron to Cleveland and on to Miami.

Congrats LeBron.

Still due out in a variety of colorways throughout the summer, the low-cut version of the Nike LeBron X has surfaced in a refreshing sample "Watermelon" colorway.

Following an unofficially official unveiling from LeBron's right-hand man Maverick Carter earlier today, the Nike LeBron XI now surfaces in a classic black and red colorway.

Yeah here we go people throwing that word around wildly "earned" and I just don't feel it here you know and I like the guy but I heard some analysts sayin there's a conspiracy stern is carrying out to get rid of the Jordan legacy that failed with kobe and hopes to resolve with bron but I feel he'll have better luck with durant and I believe it so no I don't think it was earned

Why is there any hate for LJ? I don't follow the logic of hatred for this dude. I have my opinions...he's no MJ but he may be the 2nd most talented basketball player of all time, regardless of rings (so far...). He hasn't paid any out-of-court rape settlements that I know of... (ehem...). He hasn't stuck his foot in his mouth or outright disrespected anyone like a lotta players do over the years...

I don't love Lebron but watchin him play can be sensational. I certainly don't love the Heat but I like em more than the Cavs. I even find it a little funny that his first ring took this long to attain And happened in a shortened, lockout season which could be argued as leavin a little more gas in the tank by the time Playoffs/Finals came around. But he still got his skills & now he's got a ring to go with em. That can't be stripped away, regardless of hate.

I dunno if it's Nike's callin him the King all these years leadin people to believe he's cocky or bloated out of proportion or what...I just don't follow the line of haters or even those who dislike this guy. But he's got what he wanted now and Nike's got a sick tribute commercial to go along with it.

Can people stop with saying "Haters" this and "Haters" that. It sounds good in a rap song but when you are trying to have an intelligent debate about something and your only rebuttal to an argument is cliche quoting Puff Daddy, then its evident you have fallen into a trap of intellectual absence. Lebron took a shortcut to winning a ring. If he was as great as people say he was then he wouldn't be running away from his failures. Magic won a ring when Kareem was injured, replacing him at center. Michael Jordan willed his team to victory scoring 45 points in his last finals game when Scottie re-injured his back and was not able to play effectively on the road. That’s what makes great players. Playing on a team with 3 out of the five players in the starting lineup of the USA team is not great.
Dude get out of here... if we are going by intellagence you have failed by writing this garbage.... there are no short cuts Do you think that with out Lebron the heat would have won the championship? FUCK NO!!!! The only damn game where everyone actually helped was Game 5... They were down 2-1 against the Pacers and down 3-2 against Boston... LEBRON WAS THE ONLY REASON THEY MADE IT THROUGH!!!! He actually won it for them by scoring and passing... Thats the facts and if you think Mimai woulda won with out him you are a down Right IDIOT....

Lebron was the only reason they made it through? They closed out Game 5 with Lebron on the bench with "cramps" with over 2 min to go. Think bro, the guy had Dwade on his team and he still needed Bosh to help him beat an injured old Celtics team with three players missing from their starting lineup! (O'Neal, Bradley, Wilcox) People lowering the standards of whats considered great.

Gotta agree with bubbajaydee617. This "championship" is a joke lol

Hey shit for brains. Name me players that are relevant in todays game that were in Cleveland with Lebron? Exactly. This game is not about ONE person.. It is about a TEAM! And btw, Lebron was averaging 30 pts almost 10 boards and 5 assists in the playoffs. That is championship worthy in my book, fucking haters lol

Bubbajaydee617 you must be the most dumbwitted person out there to say that Lebron James ran away from his failures, you're just as ignorant as everyone else who has something negative to say about Lebron. He made a decision that was best for his career, and now we get to see that decision come to fruition. NBA is not about one person it's about a group that is willing to work together towards a common goal. Lebron has superstar talent but there was no way that he could of done it without the rest of the Heat backing him up regardless of how many triple doubles he had in the post season. Same goes for any championship caliber team, whether it was Jordan, Pippen and Rodman, Bird, McHale and Parish, or Lebron, Wade and Bosh they worked as a team to win and that's what we say happen and what we will continue to see throughout the league. With that being said, GO HEAT!!!
