Designboom presents a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the new Nike GS football booth, the lightest and most environmentally friendly production boot in company history.
The GS boot features a "bio-based" traction plate and sockliner made from castor bean-derived materials. The upper is made from solvent-free Kanga-Lite synthetic, while the tongue and quarter are made with recycled polyester, 95% of which comes from recycled plastic bottles.
