This weekend will mark the second drop in adidas Originals' Olympic-inspired "Your Story" Consortium Collection. Some of the brand's partner's this time around include photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis, who reworked the ZX500 by drawing inspiration from her childhood experience as a member of the swim team training for Junior Olympics; Creative Director of Happy Socks, Viktor Tell, who put a Happy Socks spin on the Matchplay; illustrator Stefan Glerum, who represented Amsterdam with his rendition of the Decade Hi; and London Designer and Creative Director of Y’OH, Kara Messina, who created synergy between the multicultural presence of Olympics, London life and the Proshell.
The second group also includes a special make-up of the BC in celebration of adidas Originals' 20th year of involvement with the Olympics. Inspiration was taken from the original Olympia with a simple black and white colorway and tongue construction. Olympic ring inspired lace tips provide a unique touch as well.
