Vans is channeling a distinctly 90s look with the new "Distressed Plaid" pack shown here.
The shoes from the collection use a couple of different plaid patterns, each of which are beat up to give the shoes a vintage look. Fortunately, the beat look is applied only to the plaid pieces, so these are without any of the faux yellowing or tarnished suede that often characterizes nostalgic-leaning sneaker releases. The Vans Era, Vans Old Skool, and Vans Sk8-Hi are all a part of the pack.
The Vans Classics "Distressed Plaid" pack will be available this March from Vans accounts.
