While there's been a huge increase in themed sneakers for moments throughout the NBA season like Veteran's Day and the league's "Green Week," no in-season moment still comes quite as close to the added layer of meaning and importance as MLK Day.
This past Monday, players throughout the league sported custom MLK-inspired shoes from Nike, Under Armour, Reebok and Peak to honor Dr. King, and luckily for us, league photographer Rocky Widner paid extra attention to the footwear during the Warriors and Clippers game at Oracle Arena.
Check out what players from both teams rocked below, with everything from Carl Landry's Peak to DeAndre's Spines to even a LeBron cameo ahead.
