That commercial could only appeal to a fan.
A non-training training sequence where he's at the stadium with his personal DJ for the session (!), then, once it seems like the useless meter for this commercial has been pinned, they break the gauge by having him to the faux-Superman bit, followed by him doing that move where he throws his head toward the camera, screaming "what?"
Having worked with the school system for years, that head fake move is a classic bully maneuver, meant to intimidate the person in front of them. What's strange about it is the message that it sends: is he trying to bully you into buying the shoes?
Who would think that's a valid marketing tool? Just weird.
